For additional information contact Judy Wilson at judywilson27@comcast.net.

MALDEN, MA - From the Zonta Club of Malden: The Zonta Club of Malden will be collecting donations for “The Period Project”. It's extremely hard for women living in poverty to deal with the monthly financial and physical burden of a period. Products are costly and are not covered by SNAP or WIC. All donations collected will be given to RESPOND. RESPOND, a pioneer in the movement to end domestic violence, is New England's first domestic violence prevention agency and the second in the nation. Based in Somerville, MA, for over 40 years RESPOND has provided life-saving shelter, a crisis hotline, support services, training and education to more than 100,000 members of the community. Services are free, confidential, and available to all survivors of domestic abuse—women, men, teens and children. . Below is a list of what we're collecting.

• Sealed Boxes of Pads or Tampons
• Panty Liners
• Cleansing Wipes
• Hand Sanitizers and/or Soap
• New Pairs of Underwear (Any Size)
• or cash donation to purchase items in short supply

Donations can be dropped off at Tailored for Success, 587 Pleasant Street, Malden, MA on Friday, November 10th and Friday November 17th between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
