• Marblehead Church To Host Free North Shore Chamber Music Society Bach Concert (patch.com) — Music lovers in Marblehead can enjoy a free afternoon of Bach on Oct. 18, when the North Shore Chamber Music Society performs at St. Michael's Episcopal Church on Pleasant Street. Local audiences will hear iconic works like Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and chamber pieces for strings, with donations welcomed to support the church.
• Marblehead To Host Second Addiction, Recovery Education Series (patch.com) — Marblehead residents are invited to a second free, six-week online series exploring addiction and recovery, beginning Oct. 20 and running Tuesday evenings via Zoom. Led by licensed counselors working with Marblehead police and public health officials, the program aims to foster more empathetic, informed conversations about substance use and local support resources.
• Marblehead CVS Now Accepts WIC For Infant Formula Purchases (patch.com) — Families in Marblehead who rely on WIC now have a new, convenient place to buy infant formula, as the Atlantic Avenue CVS has been approved to accept WIC benefits for these purchases. State Sen. Brendan Crighton and State Rep. Jennifer Armini helped secure the authorization and visited the store to highlight how it expands local access to essential nutrition support for infants and young children.
