$100K Lottery Winner Sold At Marlborough Store

The lucky ticket was purchased at a liquor store in the city.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A large lottery prize was sold at a small business in Marlborough last week.

The lucky ticket was worth $100,000, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. It was purchased at Denny's Liquors, at 193 Boston Post Rd. W, on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

The prize was won from the Mass Cash game. Players must select five numbers from 1 to 35, and drawings occur twice daily at 2 and 9 p.m. The odds of winning a $100,000 prize from the game are one in over 324,000.

The state lottery commission did not share who won the prize.

Another winning ticket of the same amount was also sold in Massachusetts on Tuesday. A $100,000 prize was sold at Endicott Variety in Dedham, from the $15,000,000 Colossal Milions game.
