Marlborough Tech Company Acquired By Public Sector Platform
A Marlborough technology company has been acquired as part of a public sector technology expansion.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough technology company that works with government and education clients has been acquired as part of a public sector technology expansion.
xFact announced Tuesday it has acquired Stonewall Solutions, a Marlborough-based provider of custom technology services for state and local government, law enforcement, higher education and commercial organizations, according to a Business Wire announcement.
Stonewall, founded in 2004, provides services including IT modernization, Microsoft 365 support, custom application development, technology consulting, case and content management and cloud and hosting services, according to the announcement.

The company serves customers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Mississippi and Vermont. xFact said the acquisition will expand its work across public safety, criminal justice, health and human services, state and local government and advanced technology operations.
“For more than 20 years, our team has been focused on building technology that helps state and local government agencies serve their communities better,” Stonewall President and CEO John Condon said in the announcement.

xFact CEO Jeff Valentine said Stonewall’s work in IT modernization, content management and case management will complement xFact’s existing services.
Renovus Capital Partners, which is the majority owner of xFact, provided strategic and financial support for the transaction, according to the announcement. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in the announcement.
