Dale Street Students 'Wow' Audience; Raise $500 at Annual Talent Show

The  2012 Talent Show raised $500 for the Medfield Home Committee, a charity that helps Medfield families in need.

This year's Emcees were Claire McNolty, a Dale Street student, and Mike Mason, Dale Street teacher and advisor. 

Mrs. McNeil prepared a special slideshow depicting the children during their many practices as they prepared for Friday's performance.

This year's acts included:

• "Right Back Where We Started," a dance by Maeve Devlin and Molly Sarris
• "Summer's Not Hot," a dance by Meg Scier, Maddy Reddy, Phoebe Macleod, Carolyn Bergland and Alena Ockerbloom
• "Bang, Bang," a dance by Katy Enos, Maggie McHallan and Juliana Hoernle
• "Defender of Time," a piano piece by Rebekah Morrison and Maddie Moon
• Two songs on Flute and Cello by Francesca Compton and Anna Passas
• * "Dude Looks Like A Lady," a dance by Maddy Holm, Lane Whitla, Paige Kincaid and Alana Potts
• "Set Fire to the Rain," a song by Emma Mangiacotti
• "Sweet Child of Mine" on the piano by Griffin Wagner
• "Good Feeling," a dance by Perri Cahill, Clare Melley, Susie White, Kasey Douglas, Katie Farrell, Jules Giurini, Maggie Scales and Rachel Stewart
• Ventriliquism by Michael Koellner and 'Charles'
• Jump rope by Coleman Foley
• "Firework" on the piano by Maddie Moon
• Piano piece by Lucas Zheng
• Piano piece by Francis Brooke
• A dance by Katlyn Malvese and Rachel Tatro
• "King of Anything," a song by Alana Potts
• A dance by Catie O'Connell, Katie Soucy and Brenna Gigliotti
• "The Entertainer" on the piano by Nolan Hogan
• "My Turn," a dance by Tatum Samson, Ainsley Shelley and Eileen Morrill
• "ABC, 123," a dance by Coleman Foley and Griffin Wagner

The school offered a special "thank you" to Mrs. McNeil, the Dale Street custodians, the Dale Street teachers and staff, Medfield High School field hockey who made donations to the event, Dale Street interim principal Mrs. Argir and "especially all of the talent show performers and their families."
