Medfield Women’s Club moves raffle online

Because Discover Medfield Day was cancelled, the Hannah Adams Woman’s Club will hold its annual “Medfield Mum” raffle online. The proceeds of the annual raffle go toward our annual scholarships.

This year’s mum is valued at $280 and includes gift cards to Be Charmed, Blue Moon, Brothers, Dunkin, Marshalls, Park Street Books, Starbucks, The Gathered Room, and Wellness & You.

Tickets are $5 for one chance or $10 for 3 chances and can be purchased via Venmo @hannahadamswc. Your Venmo payment serves as your ticket(s). The more tickets you purchase, the more chances you have to win. The raffle runs through Oct. 17. The winner will be drawn on Oct. 18, and the mum will be delivered locally that day (or we can arrange for pickup).

The Hannah Adams Woman's Club is the namesake of Hannah Adams (1755-1831), who was born and raised in Medfield and ran a similar women’s group during her lifetime (circa 1775). The club is purportedly the longest continuously running women’s group in America and is committed to supporting women and the community, including the annual Hannah Adams Scholarship (est. 1905). Your participation in this event will help fund this year’s scholarships.
