• Medfield police chief placed on paid leave (hometownweekly.net) — Medfield's police chief, Michelle Guerette, has been placed on paid administrative leave while an outside investigator reviews alleged violations of department policies, the town announced. Officials say they're following POST Commission rules, won't release details during the personnel investigation, and expect no disruption to local police services while the department operates under its existing command structure.

• Medfield defense stifles Millis in shutout (hometownweekly.net) — Medfield High's football team rolled to a 32-0 shutout over Millis, powered by a dominant defense that allowed just 60 total yards and never let the Mohawks cross midfield. Local standouts like Lucas Sullivan, Noah Smith, and quarterback Owen Sokolowski fueled the offense as the Warriors improved to 3-0 heading into a tough Tri-Valley League Large stretch.
