8th Grade Open Houses for Medford High, Voke

MEDFORD, MA – Medford High and Medford Vocational Technical High School will host their annual 8th Grade Open House Tuesday.

• The open house will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and cover the following (via Medford Public Schools):
• 6 p.m. - Dr. John Perella, Headmaster of Medford High School and Dr. Heidi Riccio, Principal/Director of MVTHS, will address parents and guardians in Caron Theatre.
• 6 p.m. - MVTHS will have all their program areas open with interactive activities planned. 7th grade, 8th grade and present students are encouraged to visit and explore the technical program areas.
• Information about the 20 different career programs and technical offerings, college credits and certifications will also be discussed.
• At MHS, presentations about the numerous and diverse course offerings, including AP classes, will be discussed, as well as volunteer and cooperative work opportunities that are available to students.
• Sports fair and student activities/club fair

The event is open to 7th grade students, their families and the general public as well. If students are interested in taking courses at the high school and vocational technical high school.
