ALDI In Medford To Reopen This Month

MEDFORD, MA — ALDI supermarket in Medford will reopen at the end of the month. The store will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, Aug. 29 at 8:30 a.m. It will offer gift cards to its first 100 customers through the Golden Ticket giveaway, and shoppers can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year's supply of ALDI produce.

The Medford store is part of the $1.9 billion investment to remodel and expand more than 1,300 of its 1,900 U.S. locations by the end of 2020. The updated supermarket will feature expanded refrigeration space and additional product offerings, as well as a 40 percent increase in fresh foods.

"The updated ALDI store layout has even more to offer shoppers. Stores are easier to navigate and have more space for the products people love the most," Bruce Persohn, South Windsor division vice president for ALDI, said in a statement. "We can’t wait to show our customers in Medford their newly remodeled store, and continue providing the affordable, high-quality foods we know they love at ALDI."

ALDI is located at 630 Fellsway in Medford. Its hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Sundays.
