Joanne I. (Moran) Chesnick

Joanne I. (Moran) Chesnick, of
Medford, died peacefully at the Life Care Center of Stoneham, after a brief
illness.

Born in Charlestown, and raised in Somerville, she was the
daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary A. (Dwyer) Moran. A Medford resident
for nearly 60 years, Joanne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who
enjoyed the company of her family and friends.

The beloved wife of the late Vincent A. Chesnick, who died in
1978, she was a devoted mother to Stanley Chesnick and his wife Camille of
Stoneham and Florida, Mary Giordano and her husband Paul of Medford, Vincent P.
“VC” Chesnick and his wife Carol of Florida, Katherine “Casey” Mottau and her husband
Ross of Milton. She was a loving “Nana Jo” to Michela, Alex, Heather and a dear
sister to the late William J. Moran.

Relatives and friends were invited to a Mass of Christian
Burial, celebrated Tuesday, February 21st at 10 AM in St. Patrick
Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham. Services concluded with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Joanne’s name to
the Life Care Center, patient activities fund, 25 Woodland Rd., Stoneham, MA
02180.
