ARMUN Students Participate in Leadership Summit in DC
2 Medford students who are members of the Arlington Regional Model UN & Civic Engagement Clubs were part of a team that traveled to DC
12 students from the Arlington Regional Model United Nations & Civic Engagement Clubs (ARMUN) traveled to Washington, DC June 9 - June 13 to participate in the United Nations Association-USA's Leadership Summit, including spending the day on Tuesday, June 12 at the US Capitol meeting with the members of the Massachusetts Congressional team. Among the members of the ARMUN Delegation were Medford High School Sophomore Ansel Miller and Medford Homeschooled Senior Gabriello Adler-Abramo. These two were the group's spokespersons when we met with the Congressional Representatives and with the Congresspeople themselves. And Gabriello, along with sophomore Tyler McNally, who is a Maryland resident but formally from Massachusetts, networked during the Summit and got invited to attend the European Union Security & Defense Washington Symposium on Wednesday the 13th, and then from their got invited out with a group of the diplomats. The students received personalized letters of congratulations from Congressman Joe Kennedy.
