Author Table - Clea Simon and Darlene Arden

Meet the authors at a special author table event! They will be happy to sign books and chat with you about their cat and dog themed books. Also, Kitty Connection, a local cat and dog adoption organization, will staff our gift wrap table all day. Kitty Connection volunteers will be available to gift wrap your purchases and they welcome your donations to help their wonderful cause.

Clea Simon is a mystery writer who loves cats and other animals. Some of her cat-themed books are “The Feline Mystique” and her Theda Karkow cat series includes “Mew is for Murder”, “Cattery Row”, “Cries and Whiskers”, and “Probable Claws”. Her Dulcie Schwartz grey parrot series includes “Shades of Grey”, “Grey Matters”, “Grey Zone”, “Grey Expectations”, “True Grey”, Grey Dawn”, “Grey Howl”, and “Stages of Grey”. Her Pru Marlowe pet noir series includes “Dogs Don’t Lie”, “Cats Can’t Shoot”, “Parrots Prove Deadly”, and “Panthers Play for Keeps”. She is a member of the Cat Writers’ Association and Sisters in Crime New England.

Darlene Arden is an award-winning writer and author whose books about cats and dogs including “Beautiful Cats”, “The Complete Cat’s Meow”, “Rover, Get Off Her Leg”, “Small Dogs, Big Hearts”, and “Angell Memorial Hospital Book of Wellness and Preventative Care for Dogs”. She is a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant, an internationally recognized authority on toy dogs, and a member of the Cat Writers’ Association.
