Hello and welcome to our first "Two Sisters Antiques Blog"...We will do our best to enlighten and amuse. The intented content will be about antiques but you never know we just might throw in some updates/comments about small business happenings in West Medford.

The British are coming, The British are coming! Happy Patriots Day!  This is a treasured day for Two Sisters Antiques because it makes us reflect and rejoice about this cities History and importance in this country. We are so proud to be a small business in an Historic building in a city that is chock full of history.

Where has the time gone. We are aproaching our 13th year of business in West Medford, Ma. The time has flown. We remember the first day we got the key to our store and remember that the first person to walk through the door was Ken Krause. Ken was our first friend in the neighborhood and we are so greatfull to say there were many more to follow.

Call us or email us about a specific topic you would like to read about, and we will do our best to blog about it.

We are also planning to once again change out our windows. Let's first explain the process at Two Sisters regarding changing of the windows. Yes we are truly sisters!!! We will fight about the content and theme untill we finish them. We will make up and then stop strangers to ask their opinions on our windows, in the street. We came from a time of Filenes and Jordan Marsh windows, where we stood as childen in awe of what we saw. Of course we can't compete with that, but we do a whole lot of planning and fighting to acomplish a unique window that reflects our store offerings. The nutcracker in the tin bathtub was a hit at Christmas, and by now you must know we like the offbeat and funky. Any suggestions for our windows would also be welcomed.
