Grant Aids Kitty Connection’s Trap/Neuter/Return Efforts

Volunteers urgently needed to help Kitty Connection's Trap/Neuter/Return program in Medford and Everett.

April 1, 2013: We are excited to announce that Kitty Connection has bee chosen to receive a mentoring grant from Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS), administered through the PetSmart charities.  This grant will allow us to trap, neuter, and return outside roaming cats in the cities of Medford and Everett.

This will reduce the overpopulation of unwanted cats and spare other cats from a hard life outside looking for food and shelter, with no medical care.  As important as stopping the o is educating the public on how they can stop the overpopulation of pets that result i the euthanasia of 3-4 million dogs and cats each year.

All cats are returned to the neighborhood where they were trapped, and friendly ones will be taken in and put up for adoption.

This project ends when funds are depleted or by May 25.  If you have free-roaming cats in your neighborhood and are interested in how Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) can improve your neighborhood, you can call our main line at 781-393-9995 and ask for Ginny.
