Springstep Kicks Off Summer Session of Dance, Movement & Art Class

Springstep's summer session starts on July 9th, sign up for all sorts of classes from Bollywood to Storytelling to Salsa and more.

Summer nights will be heating up as Springstep, a non-profit organization that fosters active community participation in dance, movement, and music, kicks off its Summer Session. Beginning July 9, 2012, the Summer Session offers a wide range offive- and six-week dance, movement, and art classes for adults and youth, with nine drop-inclasses to fit a busy summer schedule. 

 

Turn up the heat with Flamenco, Salsa, Belly Dance, or Bollywood. Stay cool with HathaYoga/Meditation, T’ai Chi, or our new Saturday Morning Stretch class, designed to clear yourmind and get your weekend off to a great start. Or, get your body beach-ready with Zumba, Latin Heat Cardio, or Boston Body Barre, a full-body workout inspired by yoga and Pilates.  Springstep’s experienced, high-quality instructors and beautiful, light-filled space provide an exceptional experience unlike that of any other dance studio in the Greater Boston area. Springstep, a 15,600 square foot award-winning arts and performance facility in the heart of Medford Square, opened its doors in 2003. Springstep hosts a diverse range of cultural events, classes, and social dances for youth and adults. The building includes an art gallery of rotatingexhibits, and a wide range of studios, meeting rooms, and function spaces that are availablefor rent for private and nonprofit special events.
