Break-In Suspect Accused Of Hitting Several Cities, Towns

MEDFORD, MA — A Taunton man wanted in connection to house break-ins in at least six communities was arrested Friday. Medford Police said Brandon Seeley, 29, is likely part of a larger group of people involved in recent break-ins.

Police detectives from Medford, Malden, Melrose, Stoneham, Lexington, and Arlington arrested Seeley at a Braintree house he was staying at. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant that Medford Police applied for when they got evidence allegedly connecting him to a recent Medford break-in that resulted in the theft of property.

Medford, Malden, Melrose, Stoneham, Lexington, and Arlington had seen an increase in break-ins over the past 4-6 weeks, police said.

Medford Police said Seeley has ties to the area, which could be why he targeted the area.

Police believed more are involved, and said his accomplices are "likely to be charged," though none are in custody. It is unknown if police have suspects.
