Join us all day (10am-5pm) to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day! We will have freebies, exclusive merch, and fun all day, and storytime at 2:30m! Plus we are kicking off the North of Boston Book Trail (<a href="https://northofbostonbooktrail.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">learn more</a>)- a collaboration of 20 local bookstores! We will also be open Sunday, April 26th for the NOBBT Passport Challenge!NEW this year, we will have a Golden Ticket from libro.fm -- it will be hidden in the store, and whoever finds it receives a free year of audiobooks from libro.fm!

The Post-Meridian&nbsp;Radio Players return to the Mosesian to present three P.G. Wodehouse comic tales in the style of Old Time Radio, featuring live sound effects created by our foley artists.&nbsp;&nbsp;"Aunt Agatha Speaks Her Mind,"&nbsp;"Right Ho, Jeeves" and "Jeeves Takes Charge!"&nbsp;&nbsp;Each play features a different set of actors playing the lead roles (including two women!)&nbsp; Three performances!&nbsp;&nbsp;8:00PM Friday the 24th, and 2:00PM&nbsp;and 8:00PM&nbsp;on Saturday the 25th.

Jordan Loder is an international kirtan artist whose devotional chanting flows from raw vulnerability and heartfelt presence. His concerts and retreats have graced stages worldwide, from festivals to yoga studios, fostering community through call-and-response chanting rooted in timeless bhakti traditions—expressed in a contemporary way that is all his own. You’re invited to attend any or all parts of this special East Coast appearance, in which Jordan will teach; lead a rousing kirtan; take us on a dance journey; and settle us into the peace of yoga nidra. Community Sports Day (April 26th) is an opportunity for the local community to spend a fun a time on Tufts campus with Tufts student-athletes, student groups, and local community organizations. The event is FREE and families can visit whatever activities they are interested in. A full schedule &amp; map of all the activities being offered will be sent out via email leading up to event day. Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path. SFD faculty and students are active partners in our local community, collaborating regularly with organizations and businesses through internships, exhibitions, field trips, and special events. Our reputation for excellence is on display each time our students show their work at fashion shows and exhibits throughout the year. With an SFD Certificate in Fashion Design, our alumni have enjoyed fashion careers with Adidas, Coldwater Creek, J. Jill, New Balance, PUMA, Ralph Lauren, Talbots, Timberland, TJX Companies, and more. Our alumni are designers and costumers for stage and screen, while others have found success launching their own label. Our varied class levels and flexible schedules are designed to meet the needs and profiles of all students.
