City Council to Congratulate Recently Retired Tailor 'Pino'

Pellegrino Garozzo, aka 'Pino,' was a tailor for 45 years, mostly in Medford Square.

The Medford City Council will congratulate longtime tailor Pellegrino Garozzo, aka “Pino,” on his recent retirement Tuesday.

Council Vice President Richard Caraviello and Councillor Michael Marks have both submitted resolutions honoring Garozzo, according to the agenda.

Garozzo was a tailor for 45 years, mostly at his own shop, Pino’s Men Shop, at 72 High St. in Medford Square. The space is set to become VIP Men’s Hairstyling.

In his resolution, Marks calls Garozzo “a staple in our square for many years.”
