Decade-Old Medford Restaurant Closes

MEDFORD, MA – A Mexican restaurant in West Medford has shut down after nearly a decade of business. Emiliano'z Mexican Grill, located at 123 Boston Ave., closed in late December, Boston Restaurant Talk first reported.

A Dec. 29 post on the restaurant's Facebook page said it would permanently close at the end of business that day.

"We are so grateful for all of our fans over the years and want to thank each and every one of you for your support and patronage," the Emiliano'z team wrote, going on to say that the restaurant's customers were "family."

Emiliano'z Mexican Grill opened in 2008 in the former Giuseppi's Kitchen space, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Its menu included Mexican fare such as burritos, enchiladas and tacos, as well as beer, wine and sangria.
