Medford firefighters rescued Monty, a 6-year-old shepherd mix, from a house fire on Highland Avenue Sunday night. However, after he was saved, the scared pooch darted away.
Monty’s owners, who weren’t home at the time of the fire, spotted Monty in the area Monday morning but haven’t seen him since.
