Early Voting in Medford: What You Need to Know
Trying to beat the lines at the polls Nov. 8? Submit your vote early in Medford.

MEDFORD, MA – For the first time ever in Massachusetts, voters will be able to submit their ballot ahead of Election Day.
Early voting begins Monday, Oct. 24 and runs until Friday, Nov. 4. It may be done in person or by mail. In Medford, voters may submit their ballot at Medford City Hall, Medford City Hall, 85 George P. Hassett Dr., on the following dates (via the Medford city website):
- October 24, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- October 25, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- October 26, 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- October 27, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- October 28, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- October 29, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- October 30, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- October 31, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- November 1, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- November 2, 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- November 3, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- November 4, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Registered voters may also request an early voting ballot through the mail. To do so, fill out this application and mail it to the Registrars of Voters, 85 George P. Hassett Dr., Room 102, Medford, MA. 02155.

Early voting is solely available to registered voters. To find information on how to register, visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth's website. In order to vote, you need a license or an I.D. issued by the RMV. To be eligible for the November 8 election, you must register to vote or make any changes to your registration by Oct. 19.
