Eastern MA's Top Girl Scout Cookie Seller Sold How Many Boxes?
That's a lot of Thin Mints.

MEDFORD, MA – Four years ago, longtime Girl Scout Marianne O'Connell became a member of the 500 Club, which celebrates scouts who sell more than 500 boxes of cookies. That was just her warmup.
The Medford High School sophomore became the top-seller in eastern Massachusetts this year, selling a staggering 4,400 boxes of cookies. She told the Medford Transcript it took 10 hours of work a week for three months.
O'Connell says she'll use the money she raised to go to Barcelona, London and Paris with her friends. She will also get to be CEO of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts for a day.

The title had been a longtime goal of O'Connell's after she saw the winner recognized at her 500 Club ceremony. She told the Transcript she made the most sales in train stations, and also sold at grocery stores, events and to family and friends.
