$16.8M First Week For Encore Boston Harbor Casino
Encore Boston Harbor's first week also generated $4.2 million in taxes.

EVERETT, MA — Encore Boston Harbor generated over $16.8 million in gambling revenue during its first week of business, according to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. State officials released figures from Encore, MGM Springfield and Plainridge Park Casino for the month of June.
From June 23-30, Encore made nearly $7.7 million from table games and $9.1 million from slot machines. It fell short of MGM, which earned nearly $20 million with three more weeks of business.
Encore generated $4.2 million in state tax revenue last month, the Commission said. The total tax revenue from the three casinos was $15.8 million.
