EVERETT, MA — Encore Boston Harbor reported a tepid $47.3 million in revenue last month, but its numbers are trending in the right direction after collecting its lowest haul of $45.8 million in October. Overall, November was a tough month for the state's three casinos, with Encore and MGM reporting the second-lowest numbers since their respective openings and Plainridge Park having its worst month since opening in 2015, according to the State House News Service.

Encore generated $22.78 million from slot machines and $24.52 million from table games, according to the latest figures from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. It returned 92.06 percent of the $286.9 million put into its slot machines.

In its six months of operation, Encore's highest revenue came in August, when it brought in $52.4 million. The state has collected a little over $62.9 million in taxes from the Everett resort and casino.
