Thousands expected to participate to raise funds to
help eradicate breast cancer right here in Massachusetts
On Sunday, October 30th, a sea of pink will
envelop the streets around Joe Moakley Park in South Boston for the 19thAnnual Komen Massachusetts Race for the Cure®. Thousands of women,children and men will join together to participate in the 5K (3.1 miles) co-ed
run/fitness walk that raises money to fund breast cancer research, screening,care and education programs in Massachusetts.
Anyone interested in registering to participate in the Komen Massachusetts Race for the Cure can sign up online at www.komenmassrace.org or at Joe Moakley Park on the day of the Race, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
