Dance Caliente is dedicated to making social dance accessible to all. Founded in 1998 by Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves, Dance Caliente brings a contagious enthusiasm to their instruction of ballroom and Latin dance forms. With nearly 30 years of teaching experience each, the pair brings an amazing array of formal education and professional dance experience to their instruction.

As friendly and compassionate teachers, they support each student's learning style with their innovative techniques. Their signature vocal technique, "Oonka Ahh!," is designed to keep students in touch with the music, their body, and their partner as they learn, and it has brought success to students of all levels. Dance Caliente's programming ranges from children's Latin dance workshops in the schools to private events and performances.

Event: A Night Out with Dance Caliente!

Dance Caliente provides a comfortable café-like atmosphere where you can dance to a wonderful mix of Latin and Ballroom music—including Salsa, Argentine Tango, Swing and Lindy, and Foxtrot. To provide inspiration throughout the evening, Eileen and Raul not only give impromptu performances, but also give both group and private lessons featuring their highly acclaimed "Oonka Ahh!" technique. They interact with their guests as if they were entertaining their closest friends. So, whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned professional, you should feel at ease at "A Night Out With Dance Caliente!"

Event Format
8 – 11 p.m. social dancing 
Group classes begin approximately at 9:15 p.m.
Individual help throughout the evening. 
Beginners are welcome. No partner necessary. 
Please bring a clean pair of shoes.
