Family Behind Medford Business Accused Of Kidnapping, Assault
Three members of the family that owns Nu-Way Cleaners are accused of kidnapping and torturing a person in late June.

MEDFORD, MA — Three members of a family that owns a local dry cleaning business have been charged in connection with the reported kidnapping and torture of a person in late June, according to police.
Misook Cho, 54 and her son, 28-year-old Jisang Park, have been charged with kidnapping, assault and other offenses. Cho's daughter, 25-year-old Jisoo Park, is facing charges of assault, larceny and making threats. Cho is married to the owner of Nu-Way Cleaners on High Street, the Medford Transcript reported.
The person was held against her will and "beat up repeatedly" over the course of several hours on June 24, according to police records cited by the Transcript. She was released and went to a hospital in another city, which referred the case to Medford police.

All three have been found dangerous, according to the Transcript. Cho is being held without bail and the Park siblings have been released with conditions.
