The third annual Fells Day Celebration is this Friday, June 9. That means students from the high school and tech school will participate in a number of educational activities and community service projects around the Fells and city in general.
Some of the events planned include rock painting, the clean up of parks, hikes, nature painting, yoga, music, GIS mapping, a Spanish scavenger hunt, an advanced hike to the Wrights Tower, and more. (Subscribe to Medford Patch or like us on Facebook for more local news.)
"The Fells has a lot of interesting environmental educational opportunities to offer our students, so we set aside a whole day to focus on it," said Dr. John Perella, Headmaster of Medford High School.
