Dear Mr. Gilman,
One of your bloggers, Joe Viglione, has defamed my character and integrity in his blog. http://medford.patch.com/groups/joe-vigliones-blog/p/city-council-december-3-2013--improving-medford He has taken excerpts from an earlier post of mine (that thread in which that appeared was apparently deleted today), juxtaposed the context, and then more than once, stated that I am related to one or more Medford politicians which I am not. He goes on to state that as a result of those family relationships (that are non-existent) I misrepresent myself and my motives, and therefore am of suspect integrity. I posted a response to his post (also below) which was deleted, presumably by Joe since that seems to often happen.
I demand that the Patch take the appropriate action and enforce its own editorial policy. This continued defamation of people should not continue to be tolerated in a community internet newspaper where a single individual has the ability to essentially make up facts, disparage someone’s reputation, and go unchallenged by the his ability to delete clarifications or rebuttals. Joe Viglione should be banned.

Joe, while you will likely delete this anyway... my note to Bill Gilman was to complain about your behavior and writings IN GENERAL AND ON EVERY BLOG! In that letter, I stated that I know there is a lot of back and forth regarding TV3 and I steer clear of that because I have no knowledge of the events BUT IT IS NOT THE MAJOR ISSUE OF THE UNIVERSE! YOU VIOLATE TERMS ALL OVER THE PATCH! Lastly, I am NOT RELATED TO ANY PUBLIC OFFICIAL IN MEDFORD!
