English Language Center has been dedicated to providing English programs and homestay accommodations of the highest quality to international students since 1978. ELC also offers extensive support services to ensure that their stay in the States is culturally as well as educationally enriching.
In August 2016, we will have 6 Japanese students between, the ages of 20-22, in need of homestay from a local all-girls university. As part of their program, they will enroll in English language courses and homestay for 3 weeks at ELC Boston.
In order to be eligible to host these students, host families must meet the following requirements:

- No male students or family members between the ages of 15-25
- Residence must be north of Boston

- Must be 35-60 minutes by public transportation to ELC (11 Beacon Street)
- Student must be the only Japanese speaker in the homeAll families, in addition, must be able to provide a single room with a bed, desk, dresser, closet, and fully enclosed space, along with breakfast and dinner 7 days per week. The families are paid $235/wk.
The students are arriving in 2 tiers. The first set of dates runs from August 13 - September 2 (3 weeks). The second set of dates runs from August 20 - September 9 (3 weeks).
