Illegal Gun Seized After Fight Over a Sandy Beach Parking Spot
Two men were arrested in the incident, and one of the suspects is accused of exposing during the brawl.

Two men were arrested and an illegal handgun was recovered July 5 after a fight over a parking spot at Sandy Beach, according to a Winchester police report.
Alfred Ricardo Andrade-Ascencio, 21, of Lynn, was arrested and faces the following charges:
- assault with a dangerous weapon
- assault and battery
- unlawful possession of a firearm without a license
- unlawful carrying a firearm with ammunition
- possession of a firearm with a defaced serial Number in the commission of a felony
- possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony
- improper storage of a firearm
- defacing the serial Number of a firearm
- possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card
- threatening to commit a crime
- receiving stolen property over $250
- operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license after operating under the influence.
Julio Pineda, 25, of East Boston, also was arrested and charged with the following:

- assault with a dangerous weapon
- open and gross lewdness
- indecent exposure
- malicious destruction of property over $250
- threatening to commit a crime
- disorderly conduct
- assault and battery
- resisting arrest
At about 4:30 p.m., state and Winchester police responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot at Sandy Beach, the report stated. At the scene, a man told police he had been beaten by two other men earlier, the report added.
The victim told police that when he and his family pulled into a parking spot in the beach lot, Pineda approached him and told him he couldn’t park there because he was saving the space for a friend, the report stated. When the victim refused to find another space, Pineda allegedly keyed the man’s car, the report stated.

Andrade-Ascencio then arrived, and he and Pineda began beating the victim, as well as the victim’s brother, uncle and aunt, the report stated. Pineda also is accused of exposing himself to the victim’s aunt and her two young daughters, the report added.
Officers apprehended Pineda shortly after arriving at the scene, the report stated. Andrade-Ascencio was taken into custody after crowd members pointed him out in his car as he was trying to leave, the report added.
While capturing Andrade-Ascencio, police found a Glock gun with its serial numbers scratched off in plain view in his car, the report stated.
