July's Only City Council Meeting

We're 26 hours and 28 minutes away from Medford's Monthly Summer break Circus A.K.A. The City Council meeting. Looking at the agenda, it reads just like a summer rerun TV Guide schedule. Councilor Penta has an agenda item resolution aimed at his displeasure with how the mayor governs the City. Councilor Penta has yet another agenda item resolution to talk about the virtually defunct TV3 - apparently it's not quite defunct enough for him. The Council is requesting updated reports on the current status of things that they don't have a vote on. The Council is congratulating people for jobs well done. There's a petition for a common victualler's license. There are a few petitions for reversal of sign denials. There are a couple of petitions for taxi operator licenses. And to close it all out we have a disguised-as-a-resident's-petition to speak out on something the mayor did which Councilor Penta didn't approve of (this is being filtered to the rail through a "friend" of Mr Penta).
We've seen it all before during the regular Tv season. But hey, if we liked it during it's first run (I know I was amused by their antics), we should enjoy it again during the Summer rerun season. The one "bummer" aspect of all this? Spell Check doesn't like the proper names "Medford" and "Penta" - it keeps flagging them as spelling errors.
