My windshield was smashed by a group of young (middle-school aged?) boys roaming near the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, early this am (3:40AM!!-where were there parents??). I saw and heard them after the fact but did not see any damage until the light of day. They ran away and left the ball that they used to smash my windshield, and then the ball disappeared later this morning. I was heartbroken (and frustrated and angry) for a number of reasons, mostly as I had plans with my elderly mother for the day, and could not drive her. She had to stay home.
Did anyone see these children or the ball? The police think it was a medicine ball, due the severity of the damage.
