MEDFORD, MASSACHUSETTS – For the fourth consecutive year, East Cambridge Savings Bank donated $10,000 to the 2014 Medford Summer Recreation Program. The Recreation Program is hosted at Carr, Harris, Morrison and Tufts Parks, from 9 AM - 1 PM, Monday through Friday. The program provides recreation for youngsters in the community through sports, games, physical activities and arts and crafts. Instructors serve as role models to help instill the values of leadership, acceptance and group cooperation.
"We are delighted to once again sponsor the Medford Summer Recreation Program. The program gives the children of Medford the opportunity to have fun, stay active and make new friends during the summer months," stated Gilda M. Nogueira, president and chief executive officer of East Cambridge Savings Bank.
