Local Disabled Artist Has Bike Stolen

Doc Madison, a local artist who has lived in Medford all his life, just had his only way of getting around the city stolen.

Have you seen this Bike?

This is my 1975 Raleigh Rampar, which I had for 40 years.
It was stolen in March.
This bike was my only way to get around, since I can’t walk unaided (hence the Handicap Sign on the side)
If you see this bike PLEASE contact the Medford Police immediately.

They are actively pursuing this

My Mother gave me this bike when I was 10 yrs old in place of a wheelchair. She figured that I’d build my legs with that instead of a wheelchair. And she was right. I need this bike to keep my strength, because my muscles die quickly. I need the help of this community to make it possible for me to have my dignity, and do things for myself.Whoever took this bike was evil, never thinking that such a thing was so important to the owner(me), that I need this transportation just to live.
