Longtime Medford Square Business Closing

Ward’s Gifts, the longtime Medford Square gift shop, announced late Tuesday night on its Facebook page that it’s closing after 72 years.

The news follows nearby Bestsellers Cafe’s announcement that it’ll be closing after 17 years at the end of January.

Ward’s Gifts wrote:

Thank You! It is with sadness that we announce we are retiring from the gift business. We love our customers, you are family! We have appreciated your patronage over the last 72 years. With much gratitude, The Ward Family.

Ward’s Gifts is at 44 High St.
