Man Fought Police, Girlfriend While His Pregnant Dog Died: DA
The 29-year-old is accused of fighting a group of people that included his girlfriend and her daughters while his dog died in a hot car.

CHELSEA, MA – A Massachusetts man fought a group of people while his pregnant dog died in a hot car, authorities said. Alberto Carmenatty, 29, of Chelsea, was arrested around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday at Hopkinton State Park after getting into a fight with his girlfriend, her two daughters and another family member, according to the MetroWest Daily News. One of her daughters is five months pregnant.
Carmenatty also allegedly elbowed one of the officers attempting to arrest him and spit blood into an officer's mouth, the Daily News reported. After Carmenatty was arrested, his dog, a pregnant border collie, was found dead in the car. Police said he put the dog in the car immediately before the fight started.
