Man Arrested in Connection with Everett Murder
A 32-year-old Nantucket man was shot to death early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Police have arrested a 26-year-old Everett man in connection with the murder at 2 Elmwood St. in Everett early Saturday morning.
Rigoberto Escobar allegedly shot 32-year-old Magno Sosa, of Nantucket, in the head at about 1:55 a.m. Saturday. He was arrested at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday and is scheduled to be arraigned on a murder charge Tuesday in Malden District Court.
“While this is still an active investigation,” Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a statement. “We are confident that the person responsible for this violent death is in custody. Investigators will continue to evaluate evidence gathered at the scene and seek information from individuals who may have known the victim in order to determine what may have led up to the shooting yesterday morning.”
