MassDOT To Close Lanes On I-93 In Medford

Work will be conducted each night beginning on Sunday, July 31 during the hours of 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

MEDFORD, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be conducting overnight construction operations along I-93 northbound in Medford.

The work consists of installing concrete barrier along the right shoulder to improve safety through the area and will require nightly right lane closures and a full time closure of the northbound breakdown lane between exit 23 (Route 60) and exit 24 (Fellsway West).

This full time breakdown lane closure is expected to last through the month of September. Those traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution.
