Mayor McGlynn Receives Mystic River Watershed Association Award

Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn received the Mystic River Watershed Association’s “Mystic Municipal Leadership Award” at a banquet Thursday night.

McGlynn was recognized for his support of the river, including his efforts to secure additional funds to combat invasive water chestnuts and to improve the Condon Shell and Clippership Drive Park.

“Mayor McGlynn should be commended for bringing to the forefront the importance of embracing the Mystic River, which flows through out community,” EKOngKar Singh Khalsa, the association’s director said.
