Medford Bank Robbery: 2 Suspects Sought

Police are looking for a man and a woman in connection with a robbery at East Cambridge Savings Bank Thursday.

MEDFORD, MA — Police are searching for two people in connection with a robbery at East Cambridge Savings Bank Thursday afternoon. Around 3:25 p.m., a man entered and passed a note to one of the tellers claiming he had a weapon and demanding cash, police said. He was given money and fled to a waiting vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with a medium build. He wore a white and blue baseball cap with a logo on the front, a gray long sleeved shirt and dark-colored sweatpants, according to police.

A woman with a tattoo on the back of her arm was seen with the man before the robbery, police said. Investigators are calling her an "involved party."

The suspects fled in a silver or gray sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, with a New Hampshire registration, police said.
