Medford City Councilor Breanna Lungo-Koehn Running For Mayor
Lungo-Koehn, who has been a member of the city council for nearly 20 years, will challenge Mayor Burke in November.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford City Councilor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced she is running for mayor over the weekend. Lungo-Koehn held a campaign kick-off event in Medford Square Sunday, where she discussed the "fresh perspective" she believes she can bring to the mayor's office.
She highlighted equal opportunity for women, fair development and school safety as important issues, according to the Medford Transcript. Lungo-Koehn has been a member of the city council since 2001 and plans to step down at the end of the year.
