Medford Comms Director Deanna Deveney Leaving For Everett Job

Director of Communications and Intergovernmental Affairs Deanna Deveney has accepted a position in the Everett mayor's office.

MEDFORD, MA — Director of Communications and Intergovernmental Affairs Deanna Deveney is leaving Medford for a job in the Everett mayor's office. Deveney will serve as the Deputy Director of Communications and Intergovernmental Affairs for Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria.

"Deanna Deveney has served as an integral part of my administration from the first day she arrived," Mayor Stephanie M. Burke said in a statement. "She is a thoughtful, no-nonsense communicator who is focused on getting the job done for Medford, its neighborhoods and residents."

Deveney has led Communications and Intergovernmental affairs for the city. She also managed press releases and advisories, legislation and media engagement and led communications between municipalities, federal and state government and City Council.
