Medford Crash Victim ID'd; Teen Charged With OUI
A woman and a dog were killed when a teen struck three pedestrians on Spring Street Sunday afternoon.
MEDFORD, MA – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Medford late Sunday afternoon. Judith Moses, 64, of Brookline, was killed when a teenage driver struck three pedestrians on Spring Street, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office.
The teen was traveling near Emerald Street around 4:50 p.m. when he struck the woman, authorities said. He then continued down Spring Street and hit two people, a 27-year-old man and 28-year-old woman, and their dog near Yeoman's Avenue before crashing into Citizen's Bank. Those two people remain hospitalized with serious injuries; their dog was killed.
The driver, a 17-year-old male, was arrested, according to Middlesex DA Marian Ryan and Medford Police Chief Leo Sacco, Jr. He has been charged with operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of an accident causing death, operating to endanger and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Investigators believe the teen, who has a learner's permit but does not have a license, was under the influence of a drug at the time of the crash, according to the DA's office.
He was arraigned Monday in Cambridge Juvenile Court.
