Medford Dedicates Garden to Marathon Bombing Victims, Survivors (Photos)
The Krystle Campbell Peace Garden was unveiled Sunday.
MEDFORD, MA – On Sunday, Medford remembered those who lost their lives in the Boston Marathon bombings with a peace garden dedicated to Krystle Campbell, a graduate of Medford High School.
Campbell was killed in the 2013 attacks, along with Martin Richard and Lingzi Lu. MIT police officer Sean Collier was shot and killed by the perpetrators days later as they were pursued by authorities.
The four were honored at Sunday's ceremony, along with the survivors and first responders. Plaques adorned with their names surround the fountain at the center, along with Boston Marathon mile markers on the path.
