Medford Delivery Driver Stabbed During Robbery: Police

MEDFORD, MA – A delivery driver was stabbed during a robbery in Medford Saturday night, police said. The driver called police around 8:10 p.m. and said he had been stabbed on Washington Street. Officers arrived to find him lying on the ground with a stab wound to his lower back, according to police.

The driver, who police said works for a local restaurant, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for emergency surgery. He is in stable condition.
