Mea Quinn Mustone shares why she is running for School Committee in 2019.

MEDFORD, MA — Medford's municipal election Nov. 5 will send six people to the School Committee out of a pool of 10 candidates. Mea Quinn Mustone, 43, is one of five current committee members running for re-election.
Mustone is the coordinator of First Year Experience at Malden Catholic High School. She lives in Medford with her husband, Tim, and their six children.
Mustone has a masters degree from Boston College.

I have 5 children enrolled in Medford Public Schools, one at Medford High School, two at the Andrews Middle School and two at the Roberts Elementary School.

Review our elementary Math curriculum and our middle school Science curriculum.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Advocating for full time Kindergarten aides in every classroom. Lobbying and purchasing a new elementary Science curriculum. Promoting a more green approach to our food service department including ending use of styrofoam trays and supporting composting . Strongly supporting free breakfast in all our schools. I think my role as a school committee is to listen to parent's concerns and help find a way together to find an answer and or a solution.
