Medford To Help Families With Gas Bill This Winter
Qualifying families can receive up to $500 toward their gas heating bills.
MEDFORD, MA — Medford's Natural Gas Fuel Assistance Program will once again be in effect this winter. Through grant funds from Attorney General Maura Healey's office, the city will help qualifying families pay their home heating gas bills.
To qualify, household annual income must be between 60 percent and 80 percent of the mean area income. A family of four with a collective income below $95,000 will qualify for assistance.
The program will be administered through the Human Diversity Office Room 214 in City Hall. Please call 781-393-2439 to setup an appointment or get more information. If you qualify, you are eligible to receive up to a maximum benefit of $500 towards your gas heating bills this winter. Residents can apply in person on a rolling basis in the Human Diversity Office in Medford City Hall starting Dec. 1.
