Medford To Hold Public Meeting On Library Project

MEDFORD, MA – The city invites residents to an open meeting on the library project next week. The project is estimated at $34 million, with $12.2 million to be covered by a state grant. Another $400,000 is expected to be awarded once the building receives LEED energy certification, according to the city.

A capital campaign with a goal of $5 million is also planned.

Residents will have the opportunity to hear from the architects, see the proposed internal design and discuss next steps at the meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Medford Public Library, 111 High St.
