Medford Holding Veterans Day Walk

Proceeds from Sunday's event will benefit service dogs for veterans and the Krystle Campbell Betterment Project.

MEDFORD, MA – The following is an announcement from the city of Medford.

The Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility (CCSR), Mayor Burke’s Office and Krystle Campbell Community Betterment Project are planning a Walk for Veterans, on Veteran’s Day, Sunday, November 11, 2018 starting at Medford City Hall at 10 AM (2.5 miles).
Details:

  • Proceeds go to service dogs for veterans (NEADS) and the Krystle Campbell Betterment Project
  • There is no registration fee; donations of any amount will be accepted prior to the walk and on the day of the walk (checks to: CCSR – Medford Public Schools)
  • Long sleeve tee shirts will be sold ($20) prior to the walk and on the day of the walk
  • After walk reception at Carroll’s Restaurant, 21 Main Street
  • 2.5 mile route starts and ends at City Hall and goes down Riverside Avenue to Freedom Way, through Mystic Riverbend Park (by Andrews & McGlynn Schools and Hormel Stadium), and back
